Study an Australian Diploma Online — From Anywhere in the World

Live online classes, one Australian AQF qualification, no relocation. Who studies the Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design from overseas, how time zones work, and who's eligible.

Manila, Dubai, Kathmandu, Nairobi, regional Queensland — our live classes have students in all of them. Here's how studying an Australian qualification from where you already live actually works.

The most common question our admissions team gets from outside Australia is some version of: "I'm in the Philippines / the UAE / Nepal — can I actually enrol?" For the RII60520 Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design, the answer for most people is yes. The course is delivered 100% online through live classes, so where you sit while you study does not change the qualification you graduate with.

One qualification, wherever you are

Every student — in Sydney or Singapore — completes the same nationally recognised training, sits the same project-based assessments and graduates with the same RII60520 Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design. There is no "international version" or "online version" of the certificate. What you receive is:

AQF 6

Australian Qualifications Framework level 6

Advanced Diploma — one step below a bachelor degree, above a Diploma and Certificate IV.

NRT

Nationally Recognised Training

Listed on Australia's National Register (training.gov.au) and issued under the NRT logo.

ASQA

Government-regulated provider

Pegasus International College is registered with the Australian Skills Quality Authority — RTO 46222.

Because every Australian qualification sits on the AQF, employers and qualification-recognition bodies overseas have a clear reference point for what an Advanced Diploma means in their own system — it is the same framework Australia itself uses to assess foreign credentials.

Who studies with us from overseas

How live classes work across time zones

Classes are live on Microsoft Teams — not recordings. The current timetable is a Thursday evening class (7:00–8:00pm) and a weekend class (12:00–3:00pm), Melbourne/Sydney time — chosen for people who work, and it lands well across our main overseas regions:

Where you are Thursday 7:00pm class Weekend 12:00pm class
Melbourne · Sydney · Brisbane 7:00pm 12:00pm
Perth 5:00pm 10:00am
Manila · Singapore · Kuala Lumpur 5:00pm 10:00am
Kathmandu 2:45pm 7:45am
New Delhi · Mumbai · Colombo 2:30pm 7:30am
Dubai · Abu Dhabi · Muscat 1:00pm 6:00am
Nairobi · Riyadh · Doha 12:00pm 5:00am

Class times shown are the current timetable in Australian Eastern Standard Time and are subject to change — they shift by an hour during NSW/VIC daylight saving (October–April) and vary by intake. Contact the college for the current schedule before enrolling. Sessions are also recorded for revision, but attendance at the live class is part of the course.

What you need

Who is eligible

Pegasus enrols domestic students and overseas-based learners studying from their home country. Because the course is not CRICOS-registered, we are unable to enrol holders of an Australian Student visa (subclass 500). If you are in Australia on another visa, check that its conditions permit study — our admissions team can point you to where to confirm this, but cannot give migration advice.

Graduates who later want their skills recognised in Australia can apply for a skills assessment as a Civil Engineering Draftsperson through Engineers Australia or VETASSESS. That is a separate process run by those bodies, with its own criteria — the diploma and the project portfolio you build during it are what several of our graduates have used to support their application.

Check your eligibility in one message

Frequently asked questions

Is the certificate different if I study from overseas?
No. Same AQF level 6 Advanced Diploma, same testamur with the Nationally Recognised Training logo, issued by the same ASQA-registered RTO.

Do I need to come to Australia at any point?
No. Classes, assessments and support are all delivered online.

Can I study on a Student visa (subclass 500)?
No — Pegasus is not CRICOS-registered, so we cannot enrol subclass 500 holders.

Is the software really included from overseas?
Yes. Complimentary AutoCAD and Revit access is included for the full duration of your enrolment — from your first class to your final assessment — wherever you log in from. There is nothing extra to buy or license.
